Llanarth Church & Llanarth Court

Llanarth Church & Llanarth Court
This is how I look on a good day!

My Stained Glass

Well, modesty nearly forbids, but I have to say it. They absolutely love it!

Visitors go very quiet, then they start cooing. I honestly don't know if its window-gazers or doves in my rafters half the time. Even the regulars often go silent, and stare and stare. I'm sure that's not all pre-senile dementia.

This is the kind of thing that get's written:

'One of the outstanding features of the church is its stained glass windows. These include six large windows in the southwest wall, erected in the 19th century using glass panels made in German workshops in the 16th and 17th century and brought to Llanarth from mainland Europe.'
St John
The angels who look after me

Two friendly faces

And don't forget my beautiful apse!

St Bernard
'There are also two richly coloured
windows, featuring St Francis and St Bernard, designed by Margaret Rope in the Arts and Crafts tradition for the apse that was added in 1930.'
